How to prepare for your visit

Book Your Appointment

Call our office and talk with our friendly, knowledgeable staff. They’ll answer your questions and help you determine if Muscle Activation Techniques is the right fit for your needs. We’ll guide you through the scheduling process and make sure you know exactly what to expect on your first visit.

Wear the Right Clothing

Dress in loose, comfortable activewear—think shorts, leggings, or athletic pants with a t-shirt or tank. Avoid jeans, dresses, or anything restrictive. You’ll be asked to move, stretch, and engage muscles throughout your body, so freedom of movement is key.

Bring an Open Mind

Muscle Activation Techniques will be different from anything you’ve experienced before. It’s not about managing symptoms—it’s about finding and fixing the cause. You’ll experience real changes in muscle strength and stability, often within minutes.

Email any important medical records or other information Dr. Hinson requires.

The New Patient process

What you need to know prior to your appointment!

Your initial visit

All new patients will have a complimentary first consult with Dr. Hinson. This consult will be 15 minutes and will be a conversation between you and the doctor.

If Dr. Hinson thinks that he is the right fit then we will move forward with an exam.

The fee for the exam is $225.

If Dr. Hinson feels he isn't the right doctor for your case, he will recommend someone who can help you.

Patients working with Dr. Hinson can expect:

    •    A detailed evaluation of muscle and movement function

    •    Clear explanations of what is happening in their body

    •    Care guided by measurable testing and results

    •    A structured plan designed to produce meaningful improvement

⸻

A Doctor Focused on Function

Dr. Hinson’s work is built on a principle that separates high-level performance care from generalized treatment:

When muscles function properly, the body functions properly.

By restoring the nervous system’s ability to activate and coordinate muscles effectively, the body regains the stability and control it needs to perform at its best.
